I  have extensive experience of working with the local community, having been a past Town . Councillor and chair of the parish plan initiative for Thatcham, where  I was awarded the Civic Award  in 2008 and received a similar award by Frome Town Council in 2016. In 2007 I was responsible in my capacity as Technical Consultant for Thatcham Town Council for carrying out a parish review of surface water flooding and working with residents of the 1200 properties flooded at this time.
